I thought all of the bands were great...was very good to see the Rondelles again after what has easily been 10 years, but I thought Versus was superb and Unrest played some phenomenal stuff. "Soon It Is Going to Rain" in particular blew me away. I actually prefer "Perfect Teeth" to "Imperial F.f.rr." so I was a happy camper.

Bossanova were good.
Versus were forgettable. Very corny band.
Both the Rondelles and Unrest were marvelous.

Just found out The Heartless Bastards are playing in Baltimore tonight at the Ottobar. Anyone ever see them live? I'm tempted to go.

I've seen them, they are a decent live band.  The woman has a great voice, and the guitarist is pretty good.  They are not really a band where you will walk away from a show with a whole new appreciation for what they do, but if you like their music on record, I'm sure you would like the show.

yeah, they are pretty good live and the singer is a looker  ;D

Report back after you see Anderson. I really want to go but I can't justify $45.00. I'm a bigger fan of her husband. Lou might make an appearance at the show though, he sometimes does encores at her shows.
