Spice Girls comeback gig sells out
(Monday October 01, 2007 04:48 PM)
The Spice Girls' London comeback concert has sold out in just 38 seconds.
More than one million people in the UK registered for the December 15 show.
Those who successfully registered for the 02 Arena concert were sent an email or text message saying they could snap up their tickets.
Now three new London dates, on December 16 and 18 and January 2, have been added to the tour.
Tickets for the December 15 gig are already appearing on eBay, asking fans for as much as £750.
Scary, Sporty, Ginger, Posh, and Baby Spice launch their world tour in Vancouver, Canada on December 2.
They will also perform in cities including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, San Jose, Shanghai, Madrid, Beijing and Cape Town.
Their concerts will be the first time the Spice Girls have been on stage together since Geri Halliwell quit in May 1998.

Mankie - I am so in for this. The debate is LA, San Jose or Vegas. I'm really thinking Vegas.

I'll be at the Vancouver Gay Pride / Spice Girls event, w00t!
And if anyone wants the code to buy Vegas tickets, let me know via PM.

You, sir, I hold among my friends...but that's not a permanent status. To that end, would you be attending said show in jest or genuine interest? One earns points, the other may get you removed from my friends list, and I'm not detecting enough sarcasm for my liking.

Did they cancel their New York show to go to Vegas? Anyone have info on the Vegas sale date? Yes I'm serious.

Emma, no question about it, despite the MILF downgrade she got this summer.

You and bnyced (for offering) are the best. I ended up getting tickets but bought them for the wrong date. oops. I got Sunday instead of Saturday. Good thing I didn't book my flight yet. Anyway Ginger is my fave. I colored my hair like hers back in college. Posh scares me.

I'm all about Emma. Plus she had the best solo stuff of all the girls.

Actually, the Spice girls were discussed on this board long before QOTSA were even a band. This is a revival of sorts.

Wow. I'm overwhelmed. I'm afraid I just don't get it. While they weren't too bad and I certainly enjoyed some of their stuff-thought the movie was brilliantly self-deprecating-I just don't think that I'd put any effort into making it to one of their shows.
Oh, and while we're casting votes-I've always been a Posh fan.
