I'll be there tonight. Hopefully the new stuff holds up better live than it does on record.

I think someone mentioned this show was canceled in the Skinny Puppy thread.

what happened with the bmore show? anyone know?

still deciding between this and feist... or just being a fuddy-duddy and staying in. my concert-energy level has been low for the past week. maybe a good show is just what i need to up it.

I prefer their live show to Feist's. She's incredible but her music doesn't lend itself to a fun dancy high energy show. I really enjoyed Voxtrot last time they came through.

this makes me happy...because i couldn't go last night because of work and i can't go tonight... so now i can see them next month. yay.
-
me and my girlfriend will be there tonight.
-
did anyone who was there pick up one of the posters they had? i'll pay you good money for one of them, by the time i got back there at the end of their set they were all sold out.
-
Despite the fairly short set, I thought it was a great show. I didn't expect them to sound as polished as they did. It also reminded me that "Soft and Warm" is an absolute pop gem.
-
Did they play Raised by Wolves? Biggest Fan?
Did the singer raise his hands countless times? :)
-
would it be worth checking out their rescheduled show in baltimore next month?
setlists?
-
They played both Raised by Wolves and Biggest Fan.
And, he certainly raised his left hand repeatedly. You could look across the room and see numerous people mocking him throughout the night.

He certainly did. I don't remember him doing that when they played in Georgetown, it's something he's developed.
i thought it was a fairly good set, the crowd was a little boring and not dancey enough for my tastes but that's DC for you. I also thought that they weren't quite together on some songs, but that could have just been the sound where i was standing, on the right near the front.
