Absolutely love their EP and album...should be a fantastic show..

I haven't heard them yet. Any RIYLs?

Heard a few of their tunes. "Banquet" is one of the best songs of heard lately. Can't wait for their LP coming out in March on Vice.

I think this should be a good show. I'm in, got last year's EP and it's fun (possibly a tad like other gang-of-four wannabe bands these days, but worth checking out). I haven't heard the album, though...

Yeah, I found those MP3s after I posted. The complete list of free MP3s is at http://blocparty.net/mp3.html (http://blocparty.net/mp3.html)
Can't say I'm exactly blown away by any of the above MP3s, but I rather like the video. I might check them out.

These songs were b-sides and not their strongest material. The album Silent Alarm is amazing though. You may be pleasantly surprised.
You should also check out a band called Something About Vampires & Sluts. I think they're American, and sound very similar to Bloc Party, especially the singer. Kind of like a young Robert Smith.
