Title: The Features
Post by: ratioci nation on January 25, 2005, 06:34:00 pm
Normally I remember this kind of stuff, but who did they play with recently.  I have heard two of their songs over the last week and really liked them, is the album in general good?

Razorlight were pretty good live..and I quite like the album
Singles are Golden Touch and Stand or Fall.
I think they got a Q music award recently..

They have a music clip up there..

The Features weren't bad either..I believe they said they were from Tennessee or Kentucky..
I had heard Blow it Out on XM before..good song..

Hey, Pollard. The Features were terrific live. I'm a convert. I like the album, too, though it doesn't quite capture their high energy on stage. The organ is more evident live. I liked them so much that I am actually going to the Kings of Leon show to see them again. And I don't like KoL at all. Needless to say, I will be leaving right after the Features set.

They opened for someone at Fletchers over the summer (Kings of Leon or Nickelback or something).  They were killer live.  The album didn't get it all, good album, but live they just had manic energy that ruled.

They opened for Kings of Leon over the summer at the Black Cat, were very good and I think did a much better job than KOL.  I really liked the grand majority of KOL first album, but they're 2nd album stinks to high heaven.  Very dissappointed with it.

Okay, if that was the cat then Fletchers was the same bill, though I liked the KOL set, I don't own their albums.

Why wait, go out and buy this record.  Had I heard it in 2004 it would have made my favorites list for sure last year.  Used it last night to clear my head of screaming guy being used as lyrical period.  While your at it, be sure to pickup Splitsville and the Kaiser Chiefs when it's released.

The more I listen to the album, the more I like it. And I second your recommendation of The Kaiser Chiefs.

bands should think about google when they name themselves.  Can anyone provide a link for the Features?  I get links to "featured band"  or "features band"  -- ugh.

Damn. The Features are no longer listed with the Kings of Leon show. Did I imagine that they were opening for them? Now I need to unload this ticket since I'm certainly NOT going for KoL. Let's hope it means The Features will do a headline tour.

At one point the Features were going to be touring with KOL, but that mhst have changed.  When 9:30 announced the KOL show no openers where listed, they were only added this week.
