Title: Nightclub 9:30 or 9:30 Club?

just curious ... what is the official name of the club?  i always write 9:30 Club in my columns, and that's how it's described on the email list, but "Nightclub 9:30" is pretty prominently displayed all over the website ....

It's neither.  The correct way to say it is nineTHIRTY club, with special emphasis on thirty.  Actually you should shout the thirty bit while jumping up & down and clap your hands once as hard as you're able to.

the proper term is the affectionate "the dirty '30."
