Does anybody know the presale password for the Erasure show?
The Tickets.com Erasure @930 page (http://protected.tickets.com/buy/TicketOnsale?agency=930_CLUB&orgid=3595&poid=226&pid=5487275)
sez: "This is a private password protected pre-sale -- February 2, 2005 10:00AM - February 3, 2005 9:45AM"

Yep; me and anyone else who bothered to read the pink Volume newsletter.
-
Is that the imaginary newsletter that never actually gets mailed to you, no matter how many times they claim to add you to the mailing list?
-
Didn't know one could setup spam filters up for snail mail :p
-
Can someone please tell me. I have not got my volume newsletter either......
-
ignore my bogus info, let me try the man behind the curtain

I picked one up at the club on Sunday...usually don't bother, as the flyers look like they're just schedules (remember those old schedules?), but it was Volume. Not much info there, notwithstanding the occasional presale password...

Cool thanks Bags....
Right lets see how much they are going to be...

I read it must have skipped over it as I don't recall a pre-sale password

$95.25 for 2 $40 tickets.... Actually that is not as bad as I remember.
Yay! I am going to go to the gayest show, ever! YAY!

It's there. Actually, it was the only thing I can remember from the newsletter.

Its very difficult to say.
They have not played here in such a long time and there last album (The covers, horror) was poorly received.
Still they are doing multiple nights in other cities and are famed for their over the top shows......
-
The last time they came here I didnt expect it to sell out and missed out on them, I didn't take that chance this time.

I'm going to give the box office a whirl -- I assume tix go on sale to the public tomorrow.

I dont know if that is correct. Some pre-sales have been a while before real sales, but perhaps not for the volume pre-sale......

Erasure was here in March 2003 for Other People's Songs (yes it did sell out). It was a great show. Of course, it had been a long time as they had not toured since 1997 for Cowboy if i recall correctly. Erasure is best seen in SF, at least in my experience.
As for their tour this year, everywhere is selling out and even on multiple show dates. Of course, NYC added another 5 shows, so if you miss DC you can catch them at Irving Plaza for the same price.
Andy did announce hes HIV+, so maybe some people think its their last time touring.
