Shoppers food whorehouse in Potomac yards always had a large selection of good beer, but it's been a while since I went there.

you could always bring your grannie cart, board the bus, and then load up on beer and bring it back on the bus, in your oh so stylin grannie cart.
they may be ugly, but those grannie carts come in use!
-
Only losers take the bus.

Losers, black and hispanic people!

And if that picture is Mankie, it must be a blood relation, the eyes and chins are very similar. Fortunately for Mankie, he is not a ginger.

I got those Tetley's for Lulu at the Liqour store on the corner of Connecticut and Calvert on my way to walking over to your place. Sherry's is it? That was also month's ago.
-
I think I would prefer to see Markie with his little red Radio Flyer wagon.
;)
-
Only losers take the bus.
brilliant way to work in the title to the Fatima Mansions first single markie!
-
Vansmack, sherrys has been going downhill since you left. It was awful last time, well apart from the 12 pack of yeungling for $9.
And thanks Jag...... I was never curly. Although I have seen pictures of my dad where he looks pretty similar to that.
I will never use a granny trolley.

Actually, when I was in the Falkand Islands (1982) I grew a full beard and it was ginger. My goatee is rapidly changing to white now, it may have to go!

Yeah, I grew out my beard for Halloween, and it's come in a lovely shade of red. Very odd looking...

Is Fuller's brewed to the west of London and has an ivy covered building? If so, very tasty honey lager.
If I remember correctly I wouldn't call it obscure in London just here.
The best cider I had in the UK was Bulmers. I haven't seen it here.
-
Bulmers is pretty good. Are there any good English ciders to be found here? I've never had any luck.

-
Well dont tell poorlulu, but I was 18 before I realised that not all women tasted of cider......
-
I don't know about obscure but Sammy Smiths oatmeal and imperial stout are fantastic.
-
what about bazzas boncies blowout? thats what it used to be called, avaliable at a pub near borough on the hill, drink 3 pints and you get a t-shirt aswell as a ride to the hospital to have your stomach pumped, i managed 3 sips (just enough to impress the ladies).
