42 Billy Bragg concerts reaching back to 1984 available for download here. (http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=Billy%20Bragg)
From Billy's Management (http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-band-details.php?band=Billy%20Bragg)
Billy does not object to the exchanging of amateur audio recordings, or
unofficial bootlegs, of his live shows among enthusiasts. The main condition is
that there should be no financial transaction involved. Recording directly from
the sound desk is not permitted. Trading commercial releases, such as studio
recordings and official Billy Bragg bootlegs, is not permitted.
Since most of these files are in FLAC format which are much larger than mp3 files. You'll need broadband or lots of patience to download the entire show.
Seeing as the iPod can't natively play FLAC files and in the effort to play nice and not make snarky comments direct at those you own them. Here is some links that might help...
(under construction due to the need to do some more research. don't want to jump to conclusions with reviewing the data. maybe there is FLAC expert out there for both Mac and Windoze users)

Is there a one step FLAC to MP3 converter for OS X? The only FLAC programs I could find at a quick glance only converted to AIFF, which would require iTunes or whatever to convert to MP3.
