Title: BUZZCOCKS, Friday, 12/5

OK, this is turning out to be one hell of a year for concerts...the Buzzcocks are coming back to the 9:30! The last time I saw them it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. They played for 1 hour and 45 minutes, there were about 250 people there, and the band rocked out...Steve Diggle was throwing his guitar around, slamming it against his mic stand, and just generally going insane. I am SO there.

man... I'm sorry, but that show was soooo tepid!   Sure they played all their songs just like the records... but no real energy at all.

Well, I saw them in 93 and it was amazing, one of the best shows I've ever been to.  And I still have Diggle's pick, which he *handed* specifically to me, in my vanity drawer.

Was that November of 2000 Doctor Doom? They've played a bunch of shows at the new club in recent years. I thought that show ROCKED. True, it started off a little on the tepid side...but towards the end they just kept ripping out oldies and I was having a blast.
