actually i have a very early touch and go release "Process of Elimination e.p." with eight tracks on 7" vinyl (those were the days) and xeroxed lyrics sheets. Artists included Necros, Negative Approach and the Meatmen doing "Meatmen Stomp". i'll beat its worth some serious coin these days...
-
I'm sure it is, considering early Dischord 7 inches are going for nearly 100 dollars on ebay.

My Record Collection is Smarter than me. A terrifying true story :)
Most of my CD/Records are hopelessly disorganized, I'm constantly pulling stuff out for mix cds, dj gigs, etc. And too lazy to file them back most of the time. So they sit in piles and stuff away in crates. Which sometimes works because I'll stumble across stuff all the time this way.
Anyways, While pulling together stuff for tonight I was trying to remember which Bryan Ferry solo record Johnny Marr played on. So I looked it up on Allmusic. There in the view of the record was mention that "The Rigth Stuff", one of fav Ferry tracks, was based on the Smiths "Money Changes Everything" instrumental. So I decided to locate both in my collection. And there filed next to each other was the "Bigmouth Strikes Again" 12" and "The Right Stuff" 12". This happened purely by chance... And yup tis true about the two tracks :D

the one all saints album I have is surprisingly much much better than say the 10 best songs from the two voice of the beehive albums I have.
Although, I do actually like monsters and angels, I say nothing and dont call me baby. The VOTB tracks are very poor compared to the singles.
-
so kosmo when's your next dj gig there? and by chance, have you had a chance to burn those mix cds that i was keen on?

And yet you have TWO albums...I love "There's a Barbarian in the back of my car" -- it would have been sweetly nostalgic to hear them out, as I have some fond memories of drinking with the gals and singing along.

There is all sorts of shite I will buy and listen to for $1. I actually have the blue fronted one on vinyl at home as well though. Still I think their singles were good but the albums very poor.

i'll agree about the strong singles crappy albums... i was listening to the 1st "let it bee" and 3rd "love and misery" records looking for the songs i remember liking and not finding them. turns out i had a comp with "monster and angels" and "i think i love you" from "honey lingers" on it. even the andy partridge co written track is a bit of stinker. it would seem that the 3rd album telegraphed the spice girls with it's heavy synth verses guitar sound of the earlier stuff. in the end there is always a bit of fluff people admit to liking...
