the following tidbit was included in an story about the "success" of bring coupling to american tv...
"Touchstone and Garanda are translating working-class comedy The Royle Family and hair-salon-set Cutting It for ABC, an ensemble driven Dinnerladies for CBS"
I fear greatly for Mank's TV as his lip curls and he reaches for his gun... Channeling Elvis and giving new meaning to the phrase Kill Your Television.

I thought the American version of coupling had already been binned? It needs to be if it hasn't.
There is no way there could be a US version of The Royle Family..the whole comedy is the "scouse/manc" sense of humour, how would it be funny to hear a doodle say, "put kettol on ant'nie" or "e's a rart knobead he is" or "rart, tarm ferra tom tit"...they could probably try to do an American one based on the Royle Family, but I'd say it's already been done....The Honeymooners!
As for the other two shows mentioned...never heard of them.
