Interesting list....
So was robbie williams worth 80 million? He is one of the few artistes with 2 entries.
I have 4 of the albums on the list.
Oh and didnt GC do well?
-
a quick skim tells me i have #1, and...well that's it actually.
-
tatu was only 22??? that's a travesty!!! i demand a recount!
-
i have about 5 on that list.
but eros ramozotti? how did he end up on there? sure he's one of italy's most popular singers, but that's in italy, not anywhere else. strange.
and the bulk of the musicians ( and i use that word loosely) are american.
-
I only have three of those record.. and none of them are from the top 15 of that list, I'm happy to say.
I thought that Neptunes record was such a big deal--it only sold 700,000 copies.
-
c'mon fess up...who bought the clay aikens record?
-
I can claim ownership of six:

Wow. I have 4 on this list. I never knew I was so trendy...and two of them are Clay Aiken!
-
I have five, only paid for three. Foo Fighters, of course, Queens of the Stone Age and White Stripes. Each well worth it's money.
I'd take Massive Attack, though.
-

I didnt see that. I would strongly advise against it. It is really bad. Not a patch on the other 3 albums.
So that makes 5:
Coldplay
Craig David
Robbie Williams
Massive Attack
Queens of the Stoneage.
I only like the coldplay CD.
-
8 here:
11 A Rush Of Blood To The Head Coldplay
17 30 #1 Hits Elvis Presley

(1) so glad to see so many posters with the Foo Fighters
(2) I heard Escapology wasn't worth getting. I'm looking for Sing When You're Winning (and had Swing When You're Winning come highlyl recommended by one friend), and have The Ego has Landed. Is this bum advice?

Ok well my wife is the robbie fan. She only played escapology and swing when your winning once each.
The ego is landed is a best of. I dont think you need much else. The first album, life through a lens has some other worthwhile tracks I guess. I can listen to both of them without wanting to die.
I can make copies for you if you like?
-
None. Actually I have Coldplay, but might have listened to it once. Maybe the only ones I would buy would be the two Fleetwood Mac's cds, the Rolling Stones' "40 Licks" and the one by Let Zeppelin.
Glad to see Foo Fighters competing with Eminem, Cristina Aguilera, Shania Twain, Jenifer Lopez, Celine Dion and Matchbox Twenty.
-

Coldplay are fine, A rush of blood is probably better than much of the stuff you buy. Just because it is popular does not necessarily mean it is bad, you elitist bastard.
I only got two songs into the Radiohead thing. You are either more patient for me, or were willing to give it more of a chance as you had actually paid for it.
did you lose your horn? The best of came out today, yes?
pol·lard   ( P )  Pronunciation Key  (plrd)
n.
A tree whose top branches have been cut back to the trunk so that it may produce a dense growth of new shoots.
An animal, such as an ox, goat, or sheep, that no longer has its horns.
-
Except for a few entries, that list is sad. But what else is new?
The Massive Attack entry was the one that really surprised me. As good as they are, they aren't the most well known of bands and 100th Window isn't one of their fans' favorites.
El Tee, concerning the Avril, looks like someone hasn't noticed that you've grown up. ;)
Also, I found it quite ironic that Rhett, whom always goes out of his way to knock an artist who sells anything, bragged about owning and agreeing with the #1 placement. Of course, I should be use to that by now.

the only artist i have heard of on that list is elvis.
