Title: yet another case of 2 shows scheduled on the same night.

waterboys at the state theatre and ryan adams at the 930. though i suspect no one here is a ryan adams fan.

 mankie, my friend found out this from the waterboys list serv thingie:
 
 And they're playing in
 even
 smaller venues this time and it's acoustic shows. Just Mike Scott,
 Steve
 Wickham (fiddle), and Richard Naiff (piano).....
 
 oh, why why why can't promoters consult me when setting up tour dates? i mean really.  :D

 I believe you are not the only one with that problem. Apparently David Bowie will play that same night. I'm in for the Waterboys.

oh that's right. i had forgotten that bowie is at the patriot center.

Ryan Adams should have stuck with alt-country. Sure, there have been worse people, but doing his rock thing, Ryan hasn't measured up to any of the artists he mimics.
