Not wolfmother. Thanks.

Although I've heard neither, I would be willing to guess that the new Oneida and Comets on Fire albums destroy.
-
The Hard Tomorrows
The High Strung
Middle Distance Runner
The Dance Party
The World Record
Cary Brothers
Deadman and the Elephantmen
-

the new oneida doesn't destroy as much as their old stuff. a lot more of that weird chamber folk stuff they've been doing. whatev. i know for a fact their show at the warehouse on 8/1 will destroy.
their labelmates ladyhawk bring the rock. reminds me a lot of silkworm.

so which Oneida should I start with on emusic?
-
I would say Secret Wars. Each One Teach One is fantastic, but as the first two tracks are a grand total of 30+ minutes, it might be a little too intense for a first listen. And although it's a slight change of pace (but not too drastically), the Wedding is pretty great too.

i'd probably start with "secret wars." that's a pretty awesome one. i also like "anthem of the moon" a lot, although i'm not sure if that's a widely-accepted fave.

Ignore the rest of these posts and listen to Clutch. If you look up Rock N Roll in the dictionary you will see a picture of Clutch.
