nothing against the poster, but i'm wondering if requests for presale passwords should be allowed here. especially for non I.M.P. shows. thoughts?

FYI..I think Coldplay had unique passwords for everyone who got chosen in their lottery. I see this happening more and more which would render the whole situation moot.

But to win the auction, wouldn't you be paying (close to) maximum market price by default? It would shred resellers profit margins, if not eliminating them.

I don't see that happening. I don't think NIN auctioning off some of their floor seats to charity raised the scalper price for tickets. Maybe you're right, but I just don't see it.
