Dear 930 Club Lovers,
I normally would never post a survey on any message board, especially the 930 Club. I am a graduate student at GWU and we are conducting a survey on media usage.
We would greatly appreciate if you could take a few minutes and fill out a short online survey on media use and related issues created by students from the School of Media & Public Affairs at the George Washington University. Your responses are anonymous and will be used for
educational purposes only.
If you like this survey, we would also appreciate if you could forward this message to your friends and relatives.
To get to the survey, please click the following link:

Thank you very much for your help,
The students of the School of Media & Public Affairs,
The George Washington University

I'm sure you knew you were going to get critiqued, so I'll start.
Why did you not provide examples of newspaper/magazine types but did provide examples of online media types?
And also, when you said newspaper in the beginning of the survey, you should have clarified paper versions vs. online versions. I started to answer the questions as though you weren't making a difference and had to go back and change my answers.
Nonetheless, you have my answers.

ditto what smackie said. . .for example, i spent 0 time reading newspapers yesterday, but i spent several hours reading articles from on-line versions of newspapers from different cities. to take it another step. . because papers are now on-line, what would constitute a local paper vs. a national paper (other than the wall street journal)? while i don't receive the seattle times, i certainly read it on-line everyday.

I took it. What do I win?

We really do appreciate everyone who takes this Media Usage Survey. Please take 5 minutes and take this for us, it is for scholarly use and you will remain anonymous.
