Title: Keen Eddie
Post by: mankie on June 04, 2003, 04:24:00 pm
Did anyone see it on Fox last night? The New York cop gets sent to London on a case. I thought it was pretty good and the music is a plus, not to mention Alexi Sayle is in it.

Hopefully it will stick around a while.

I thought that Keen Eddie was a pretty good show as well - I'll definitely be watching it this summer. The quick cuts got kind of annoying, though - a little Ally McBealish for my taste.

Any show that gives Daniel Ash music some airtime is alright by me.
It was also refreshing that it wasn't a f---ing reality show!!!
But serious, are the lads at Scotland Yard supposed to be such smart dressers or is that at myth, like the ugly American myth

As is the norm with American telivisions' portrayal of Englishmen...they were either girlie nitwits, or braindead hooligans. That's okay though.

As for the trendy dressers...that's not "trendy" in the UK, that's normal business dress. Not a kahki trousers or button down shirt with monogrammed cuffs to be seen!
