They actually have a menu! In all my years of going I've never hit up their food stand but maybe I should have. I was surprised by how much they've got to offer. Anyone tried anything off the menu? thoughts?

Vegetarian nachos are good. VERY good. I cannot comment past that.

i concur!

At a Ween show once a girl gave me a few bites of her nachos.
Sexual euphemism or not? You be the judge ;)

The menu is pretty cool, and the prices are actually quite reasonable. The only thing I've ever gotten (twice, I think) is some kind of club in a pita with pesto, with romaine lettuce substituted for something (I forget what). Quite tasty.
-
ate there before a show... good food...
-
I used to get some sort of pita with roast beef and horseradish in it. Not sure if they have that anymore, though. And hummus/pita once in a while.
-
i don't go to the 930 for the food food.
have the birchmere for that.
-
Nachos, no. Fish tacos, yes.

It is good, but be ready to wait. I think they have like 2 people back there.

My stepsister has bought the personal pizza.
It was alright. Really effing hot.

What's her name? CherubRock33?

On weeknights, if I'm going to a concert, I'll often go straight from work to the club and eat there ("Food Food", as the sign says). I almost always get the turkey pita melt, or whatever it's called, which is probably the abovementioned pesto/pita dish. The price is reasonable, and it's very tasty and hits the spot. I haven't sampled much beyond that, except for the hummus, which is above average for a non-Middle Eastern restaurant, but nothing to write home about.

The food is good...I made sure of it when we opened
Will get even better when we roll out the paninis we've been testing
-
oh paninis...that will be good...
I usually get the chicken quesadillas...yummy...
-
I ate a turkey wrap the other night at Cat Power. It was okay - decent for the price. I'd eat there again...
-
The "wrap of grace" that they have is made with Turkey and I beleive a balsamic vinagrette,is one of the best fucking wraps I have ever had.....I can't beleive I said that, but it's true.....haven't had one in a year or so..but....damn.....delicious...

The veggie nachos are awesome awesome awesome.
-
I don't care what people like, I just want to know if anybody has been eaten at the 930.
-
Yes I have and it's better and cheaper than the Birchmere...

how about black cat? those are the #1 nachos. Anyone know the secret cheeses they use? I've tried to replicate it, but failed.
-
There's a ham-and-cheese sandwich at the 9:30 Club that I like, and which is fairly self-contained.
I think I tried some kind of wrap there once, but it was pretty messy.
-
what's the menu's price range?

This one time, during a Decemberists at the 930, I was eaten and was trapped in the belly of a whale...or so they led me to believe.

can anyone give me a price range of the food?
-
It's been a while but I've enjoyed the Pan Bagna and the Veggie Burger. I'm not a vegetarian but these are seriously great sandwiches. As I recall, most of the items were around $7.

Only thing I ever get there. So good, especially when the roast beef is rare.
Might have to try the nachos though...
-
it's never actually occured to me to eat there.
I always get vegetarian lasagna @ the Black Cat, I'm a tiny bit obsessed with it.
-
this is making me hungry.

It has got to be more reasonable than the beer....it just has to be!
Back to topic - Yes I have.
-
The food is very good and if they don't bring it in time they will give you free drinks.
-
I got the pizza once and it was very tasty. My dad loved the nachos. My sister digs the quesodillas. My favorite thing to get is the 9:30 Club! Yes that's actually a sandwhich and it's super awesome.
On a side note, now I'm wishing I grabbed dinner Thursday night at the Wallflowers gig instead of getting chinese.
