Anyone? I'll be there, but I haven't heard the new album yet. Is it any good?
-
I might be there.
I haven't heard the new one. Reviews have been mixed. Apparently the new drummer is good, but not quite as good as the dude from Burning Brides who tickled the skins on Suicide Invoice.

I'm 50/50 on attending at this point. It depends on how long it takes me to find a new suit this evening and if I'll feel like going back out again.

No need to go overboard -- Jeans and a t-shirt should work fine for the Hot Snakes crowd.

I'd ask for some of what you're smoking, but I want to remain clean in the event a drug test is required upon accepting a new position. :p

:)
just Parliaments my dear. good luck on getting that new position.

I should probably go, but probably wont

normally, i'd be going, but there's a really good show at the warehouse (i booked a band who share members with will oldham/palace/anomoanon). hot snakes are awesome live, and the demolition doll rods are always fun.

i'd like to go but i've never driven to the black cat before. where is the best place to park?

If you get there early enough in the evening, you shouldn't have any problems parking on 14th Street in front of the club.

Okay, so it only took me about 20 minutes to buy a suit (yay Target!), but I decided to come home and veg instead.

Great show last night. I thought they started out a little slow (of course, I hadn't heard the new album until this morning), but they picked up the pace and really tore through their set. And you can't beat that three song run of the first tracks on Automatic Midnight. Awesome.
As for the new album, I think I like it better than Suicide Invoice. But barely.
