big wet hot american summer fan...just curious if his stand up is any good

the whole show was very very good. eugene mirman was great and leo allen was also very good.

I'm heading up to the Ottobar show on Friday. Looking forward to it; the Stella shows were always fantastic.

I thought all three comics were great. Incidentally, Michael Showalter was listed as the headliner for this tour but he went on 2nd, with Eugene Mirman closing out the show. Mirman is going to be a household name within the year. Showalter had moments of brilliance, but clearly he's a sketch comedy guy, not a stand up comic. Although, his riff about the guilty pleasures on his Ipod (I store Journey under "Death Cab For Cutie") was hilarious and worth the price of admission on its own.

shouldn't it be "I store Death Cab for Cutie under Wolfmother"?

yeah, ny comedians seem to make the rounds as crooks and dead guys on those shows. eugene mirman was apparently on third watch:

(warning: the unintentional comedy level is very high on this. the faux-intensity slays me.)

How long did the show run?
