Do you think they will add more shows including a DC/Balt. show?
-
totally. they love us here.
-
they usually tour and tour and tour. They'll probably come back for a second go-round promoting "Stadium" ... this fall or winter; I'd say November/December 06, at the VCtr. It'll be better (slightly) than going out to stinkin' Nissan.

...and I thought they were just doing us a favor.

Red Hot Chili Peppers were fun around 1988 when I was a college student and didn't know any better.
Several years later, I won tickets to a trip bill with RHCP, Smashing Pumpkins, and Pearl Jam. I arrived late, missing all but two Pearl Jam songs. Then SP were underwhelming, and RHCP were so boring I had to leave mid-set. I'm not a PJ fan, but I'd have to say they were the best of the three, based on the two songs I heard.
Seeing the RHCP in a college gym with a mosh pit was much better than seeing them in an arena.

i saw them at the concert hall in toronto WAY back a long time ago. its a nice venue for those who have never been.....it was totally trashed though, the staff was PISSED, that was an ok show.
-
i saw them when they were still coming out for the encore wearing only one sock... at one point early on they reworked "owner of a lonely heart" to "owner of a lonely boner" which i would like to hear a recording of,,,

Sorry to hear it took you so long to figure this one out.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers will take center stage between the first and second segments of the Nextel All-Star Challenge on May 20 to perform songs from their recently released album, "Stadium Arcadium."
