Title: at the late night, double feature, picture show . . . by
Post by: walkonby on February 12, 2005, 03:33:00 pm
back when i was in the horrors of high school, and no, i'm not at liberty to discuss what year that was, i attempted, before my car broke down on me, to attend a screening of the sensation known as "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."  it was playing somewhere in the city, and by the city, i mean somewhere in the entire dc metropolis area, and i cannot remember where.  but now i want to see it in a cinema, and be witness to all that theatrical theatrics, to see if it takes away from the film's art, or if it perhaps enlightens the entertainment.  does it still play anywhere; special occasion showings, that anyone might be aware of?  your insight would be most appreciated.

It's playing at the University Mall theatre right by George Mason.  I believe it plays every Saturday at midnight, all year long.  From what I hear the theatre isn't anything spectacular, though that could enhance the experience. http://movies.yahoo.com/showtimes/movie?mid=1800026055 (http://movies.yahoo.com/showtimes/movie?mid=1800026055)
