let mini-Cooper's reign begin!!
-
that was one of the most painful to watch scenes ever. . .she is just a terrible actress.
-
i only saw the first 15 and last two minutes of last nights show, but when i watched it, my friend and i both were laughing about how they always make it seem like people are dead, and how they always come out of these ridiculous situations alive, and how there's no way they can kill off one of the main characters.
well it started to sink in when i went to the official fox website today, and it actually gave a plot summary of the show including something about "Marissa's last words before she dies." they left the scene open to enough interpretation, though, where they can negotiate with her all summer to have her back by next fall. the show is going to flop if they actually don't bring her back.
-
I didn't think she uttered a word. What? "No more I love you's"? Man, the writers couldn't come up with anything not even a cheesy cliche? Oh well, so as the two who broke up over the phone and said, "See you at school." "Yeah."
Well, at least Marissa had better taste in music than mini-Coop. Dunno about next season, this season was sorta painful to watch.

i must disagree. if anything, the others don't have to keep pulling her around like a dead weight. she was the main reason why i lost interest in this season. . .it was just painful to watch her act. not to mention the awful plot lines her character was involved in. for me, i'm glad she's off the show. . .hopefully josh can really start to write again, instead of writing down to her acting abilities.

am i the only one who has no idea whatsoever what this thread is about?

I finally am...caught up on the last three episodes last night instead of wasting my time with "Desperate Housewives." I am ready for Wednesday!

I agree with Bede. She's been through everything she possibly can, outside of sleeping with her mom's boyfriend or her own biological dad. If she were to slip into alcohol and drugs again, I wouldn't even watch it 'occasionally' anymore.
Plus, the one storyline that was primarily her reason for being -- 'forbidden love with Ryan from the other side of the tracks' -- had absolutely NO heat. The only less romantically inclined couples on t.v. have been #2 - Luke and Lorelai, and #3 - Summer and Seth.

Whö else is psyched för the VH1 mini-series "Heavy: The Störy öf Metal" ?
Part I is on tonight:
Welcome To My Nightmare traces metal's roots in the late-60's in the bombed-out industrial town of Birmingham England to the spectacular rise of Kiss and "glam metal" in the early 70's.
-
I don't know if I'd say "psyched", but I'm certainly going to check it out.
God, discover that my house has free cable, and I turn into a tv watching loser.

I have my doubts about her being able to carry the show.
As for Marissa, I wasn't really watching her act anyway, so I'm fine with the Bebe ads. They kept trying to bring in crazy guys to distract the audience from her horrible acting, and frankly, it was bringing the show down. Now, if they had brought back more lesbians, would we be having the same conversation? I think not.

i must agree with such a well-thoughtout, erudite and logical rationale.

Wang has been pitching out of his ass so far, he's due for a let down.....Did I say Wang was pitching out of his ass? LOL
If I remember right, Schilling is the only one we've beaten this year so far

i gave up during this season but watched this episode just because i had been hoping for a marissa death for so long, so i had to see it for myself. best line was when ryan goes, "i wouldn't change anything -- except oliver." now that made me laugh. was hoping for a luke appearance at a funeral, but i guess that won't happen. the show is beyond repair.

yes. the Oliver line was choice.
i have a real problem with the actress that plays mini coop. i don't know, her voice is like nails on a CHALKBOARD to me. she just bothers me. i think her acting is 3844324x worse than just about anyone else on that show. her character just annoys the hell out of me. i don't know, is it just me?
i was actually working extra hard to block out the lesbian remarks...

"I was also thinking of spending a month in London, living there and taking a course in acting," she says. "Sometimes it's nice to go back to your roots." (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/05/22/AR2006052201183.html)
sometimes it's nice to know how to act.
