We got asked to design a poster for The Detroit Cobras as they play the Black Cat next week. Originally Dan Sartain was to open but he got pulled to play for some band that dresses in red and white. I wanted to try something a bit different when it comes to D.C. posters; instead of showing snakes and motors I wanted more elegance but still sinister.
The posters are 19 x 25, three-colours silkscreened on recycled off white 100# paper. The posters will not be available at the show, that we know of, but can be seen in detail and purchased at out site, El Jefe Design (http://www.eljefedesign.com/) . Thanks.

Hmmm.... looks like it is loading on this end. Sometimes it takes a few seconds to load. You can also go to my site to take a gander at it. Sorry for the hassle.

as always...poster looks great. had to go to the site to see it, still getting the red x on my end.
wish i were going to the show. but i have a hot date with harry potter that night...

Wish I could go as well but the wife does not want to drop the kid on the dance floor no matter how many times I tell her what a great story that would be. But going to see Buffy the Musical is another story.

Anybody go? Some one wrote that the band was selling my poster, any truth to that?

I was at the show, and I am pretty sure they were selling your poster. They had quite a few posters for sale, so I am not 100%.
