...this is my last day on the board. (sit down and put the banners away Rob Gee and GGW)
I just wanted to say I've always thought of you all as my 'disfunctional family from cyberspace'.
Cant'honestly say I'll miss you because I probably won't, but I've had some laughs on here, mostly at the expense of Rhett.
They do actually have internet in Ireland but I won't have a computer for a while, and I'm damn sure I'm not paying the 30 euro's per hour, or whatever the hell it is, at an internet cafe just to chat to you sorry lot.
To the following, I say,
GGW - if you're ever in Ireland don't bother looking me up~! :D
Thirsty - hope you get your bike project done.
Rob Gee - Never leave the 80's man, stay with me in that regard.
Sonick - Keep giving the doodles shit, it's all on you now brother.
Jag - Where the hell did she go? Hope you're well girlfriend
Rhett - All the hate will be directed to you and you alone now mate.
Celeste - great arse girl! Rhett can't spit in my face for saying it now!!!!
Smackie - See you next summer.
Lulu - May your beer glass always be full.
Markie - Fuck off twat!!! (Just kidding)
-
Goodbye!
-
What about Net-Cafes? Hey, I never got to ask you: What ship did you serve on in the Falklands???
-
congrats on leaving this me first swamp
-
It will suck not having you around. Really, I mean that. Good luck!
-
He was undoubtedly on the HMS Conqueror.

See ya later dude, Bush now has one less basher living in the States. Don't worry about the 80's, that will never, ever leave this white boy.
Peace.

Good luck, bon voyage, happy pints. It's a loss for the board, really. Enjoy, I know you've been waiting a long time to get the hell outta dodge!
;)
-

Not after all we have been through together. Things just wont be the same.
I hope you have a great time in the Emerald Isle. It would be great to hear how fantastic it is sometime in the future..... stay in touch.

awwww, mankie!!
I will definitely miss your grumpy nature and doodle bashing, you have left with me a whole new slew of insults and phrases to use. and for that i am grateful.
You'll be missed on the board, even if you were the only one on a concert board to not go to any concerts (makes me wonder what the fuck you were on here for anyway!)
good luck, and...hell, I'll see you this weekend!

Actually, I used to go to concerts 3 and 4 times per week, which dwindled down to 1-2 after ticket service charges went out of control a few years ago....then down to once in a while after the baby came along. I was more enthusiastic about music than most of the board members, but if you don't go to concerts it's hard to keep up with what's going on.
And I'm not really an old grump....I just play one on this board. A bit abrupt and to the point maybe, but that's a mancunian thing. Jag can explain better because she totally gets it.

I leave on 24th...it was an obvious weak attempt at humour!
The fish n chips in the Royal Mile suck balls now.

Of course there is, that's my birthday. I'll gladly accept your Mercian in lieu of a party....

I think ticket prices in general are so expensive that the service charge isn't even an issue. Besides, you pretty much have to go to Dublin to see the big bands. On the other side, you might bump into Shane MacGowan, Mike Scott or some other genius having a singalong in a boozer over there on any given night, and Hothouse flowers play at the local pubs regularly. So it's not all bad.

I don't know which is the saddest.
You knowing the song, or me knowing the words after you had reminded me of it.
Who the hell sang that, and how long ago?

Just make sure you also count all the times they didn't fuck you over too. Yeah, people are shitty and relationships change with time, but nobody is bad all the time.
That said, fuck that guy!

Lovers leave and friends'll let you down
But you're the only sure thing that I've found
No matter what I do I'll never lose
My old friend the blues

They say friends don't destroy one another,
What do they know about friends?
-
Friend is a four letter word
