While flipping through Kosmette's Bust magazine, I came across a review of Metric's "Live It Out" with this little tidbit....
 
 "Dreadful Canadian jam band Broken Social Scene gave rise to some exceptional female talent-namely chic Francophile Leslie Feist and Emily Haines, the latter of whom leads indie new wave hard-liners Metric."
