Title: Today in Pitchfork
Post by: markie on September 22, 2003, 11:30:00 am
The high Strung have an advert......

 They review Beulah and South.....

Is it me or have Beulah gotten less good every album after, when your heartstrings break?

I'm giving this Yoko thing some time...but my favorite is really The Coast is Never Clear.. that's the one I've listened to the most, but it's hard to say whether I listen most because I like it best or I like it best because...blah blah blah...

Right now, Yoko is sounding too mundane, mellow Brit-poppy to me (no offense here, guys, just saying...)

For me, my order of Beulah preference is:

 1. Coast (3rd album)
 2. Heartstrings (2nd)
 3. Yoko (4th)
 4. States (1st)

Though I'm happy listening to them all and looking forward to seeing them live.
