 Obits is Rick Froberg, former singer/guitarist of Hot Snakes/Drive Like Jehu/Pitchfork's new band with Sohrab Habibion (ex-Edsel) and Scott Gursky (ex-Ruby Dare).

 Orphan is new rock band from NY featuring Speck Brown, formerly of the DC band Dame Fate and Brendan Majewski formerly of the Kill Rock Stars band Quix-o-tic.

You can catch Obits at Comet tonight.  Word on the street is, the entire Chevy Chase scene will be in attendance.
