Presale went live at 10AM - Anyone have the password? I think it's a promotion through Nokia..
-
password = ROCK
i got row C, center orch :D
sooooooooo can't wait
-
I just pulled row L (thank again, Joe) center, and then found row E. If anyone wants to take the row L off my hands for face value plus charges, they're yours.
-
Thanks man!
I pulled F ORCH but then thought I could do better - should have taken those. The tickets keep getting worse. Sigh. I might just try again for the general onsale...
-
Pulled ORCH, row E, seats 6-8
Total Charge: US $ 105.00
-
really? me = Total Charge: US $ 115.30
i'm surprised you thres back row F... i would have been happy with those, who knows how many seats the presale has. hell, you were several minutes late.
but i guess luck was on your side. seats 6 & 8 = third and fourth from the aisle, right-side orch - not bad at all.

Can we expect a ratcheting up of Sweetcell humour after this show?

thanks much for the heads up! got great seats. one thing was strange, though. i pulled better seats with 3 than with 2.
-
again, same weekend as my brother's graduation. a shame, cos i would've loved to see eddie izzard friday night and then kith saturday night.

NKOTB: You still have those tickets? if so, drop me an email prz (poetneko@mac.com) .. i can't pay immediately, but I could definitely scrape up the $ before the show. Job took me from 50 hours a month to almost 90 in the past 2 weeks alone... so planning a few things to celebrate :3

TM has just released a bunch of Center Orch row BB seats (6th row!) for the Nokia Theater shows this weekend in NYC
looks like they're available for all 4 shows.

brilliant. sheer brilliance.
saw the show last night in NYC - LOVED IT. a great mix of comedy and performance art. the original five guys doing 1.5 hour live version of their TV show, with both old and new characters. the GF, who had previously seen only one episode and wasn't at all impressed (it was only a so-so early show), walked away raving. there a few awkward, i-can't-believe-they-said-that moments... staunch christians and gay-humor-haters should stay away. everyone else will have a blast. the show had an interesting cumulative effect on me: as the show went on it came to me that i was witnessing an almost-mind-blowing acting performance. the guys were obviously having a blast up there. i'm not giving away any details of the show, since a lot of the humor is due to its expected nature. highly, highly recommended.
unexpected surprise: i had front row center seats. according to TM's seating map there was supposed to be 4 rows of orchestra pit seats ahead of me, guess the map was wrong :)
and rhett, you'll be pleased to know that a skit is dedicated to the b-day bj!

i was only sad that there was no hecubus. other than that - loved it! Buddy Cole was at his finest last night. Ive seen the Buddy Cole monologues performed in SF and its always enjoyable. Im jealous about your seats. Wish mine were improved, but I couldnt complain too much. I cant remember having laughed that hard in such a long time.
id be curious to know how the prior nights were.
-
yeah, simon miligan & man-servant hecubus were indeed the only things missing - hopefully we'll get them in DC. the set list (if one calls it that) has varied on this tour.
yeah, those seats were a great surprise. sorry i couldn't hang around afterwards for a drink... flew in a few minutes before start (good thing they started late!), had to leave before my ride left for da jerz.

new kids in the hall sketch (NSFW) (http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/41f325e282)

no mention of Chicken Lady, sweetcell? Isn't she your favorite character?
