This is great for cell phones to avoid carrier fees.

I was part of the beta test for this and it's pretty cool, but I still find Google SMS (http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/mobile/sms/) to be easier for everything except when you're looking for a phone number of a particular business or person you know the name of.
Texting pizza 20008 to google produces better results than calling google 411 and saying Washington, DC and then saying pizza.

GOOG 411 > GOOG SMS when you are driving or looking for the address of something in particular.
