Of Montreal is also, of course, heading out on tour in support of Twins-- they'll be on the road from March through June, although not all the dates are finalized yet. Norwegian two-piece St. Thomas will be helping on the first limb of the tour and Tilly and the Wall tap-dances through the rest. Here's what we have:

For some reason Pitchfork never seems to have DC dates listed on tours...even when they're announced. This is something I've noticed over many years. They do have them sometimes, but more often than not they don't.

...although in this case it looks like DC is just being skipped! it's mostly just a tour of campuses.

I think that it may have a lot more to do with the fact that though we are loaded with many universities and colleges, our college radio is absolutely horrendous. The exception being is from Howard University but that too doesn't work within the standard college playlist and understandably so. WTMD doesn't count either because they are nothing but whores to the monied patrons who don't really care about the students' listening preferences and don't at all reflect what is on the general US college playlists.
