Some blogs have mentioned a 9:30 Club show added on their reunion tour for June 8. There's no mention of it on this site yet, but hopefully it's on. This will truly be a highlight of my year.
SWD was one of my favorite bands in the 90's and their show at the old 9:30 in '93 or '94 was definitely a high water mark for me in that era.

Anyone else see them open for the Pumpkins back in 1993? What a phenomenal show that was. Cannot wait for this show, it's going to be great.

i adore the swerve and will be in attendance as well....hooray!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I bought my tix and will counting the days until the show.

or with Hum in 1998. Can't we just have a do over of that show? HUM & Sweredriver? I was in 11th grade and had no idea who Swervedriver was at the time. I guess we could ad the Smashing Pumpkins as an opening act...

Hum with anyone would be amazing. I keep kicking myself for cheaping out and not going to their reunion shows.

If you have $50,000 they will play at your BBQ.

m83->swervedriver...That weekend will consist of one big thick wall of sound. :D

I just recently got into swervedriver, listening mostly to the first two albums. any indication of whether the setlist will include stuff like 'deep seat' and 'never lose that feeling'? I've heard their later stuff isn't nearly as good....i'm mostly interested in their shoegazerish stuff.

I saw them open for the Pumpkins in New Orleans, and actually ran in to them at a pool hall on Decatur St. Great Guys!
