Anybody familiar with Charlottesville?
My wife and I are running the Charlottesvill Marathon this weekend. We're looking for:
1. A place to get a cheap, carb filled plate of pasta.
2. A nice dinner place with lots of vegetarian choice.
3. A place to get a good Sunday brunch.
Any ideas?
Merci.

Try one of these 3 eateries for dinner. Tim is a good friend of mine,we grew up together. He and his wife Susie are also hard core tri-athletes and were voted the "fittest couple" in America a couple years ago in a national publication. He always tries to keep healthy entrees and vegetarian selections on the menu. They are all downtown,so you can take your pick. Browse around while you are there. Be warned though, not exactly on the budget end of the scale......

We all know what a cheap-skate Rhett is so I guess these are out.
Good luck in the race, by the way.

I was just there to see Neko Case at the Starr Hill Tavern and the food/beer there was mighty fine. Good home brewed beer and decent eats. Not too pricey, either.

Thanks.
Just spent $283 to get my two toilets fixed this morning, so that's where the food money goes...
May have to treat ourselves anyway...

If I ate seafood, this place would be perfect:
Rhett's River Grill & Raw Bar 2335 Seminole Trail, Suite 100, Charlottesville, VA 22901

Yeah I'm the lucky owner of a new $750 garage door! Just what I wanted to spend my savings on.
I knew I'd have to shell the $$$ out eventually, the old one is 70 years old.

Too much fiber again, eh?
