Only shows I saw there were Devo and The Pretenders.

In "Serial Mom" they go to Hammerjacks and L7 is playing billed as "Camel Lips"

Back in the original location I saw Tool, Teenage Fanclub and Clutch, all great shows.
There used to be this sunken pit area in front of the stage that was very dangerous if you weren't careful.
-
the only show i ever saw there was White Zombie. Someone threw up on my shoes.
but it was a great show anyway. the one and only time i was ever at Hammerjacks, either location.

Man I haven't heard that name in a long time.
Back in the 80's when I was a kid just getting into music we were always afraid to go there because we thought we were going to get beaten up by "Grits".
