I think they should rename that list the Top 100 Cities in America (if having a life is not important to you).
-

I was thinking they should rename it to Top 100 Places to Live if Your Name is Andy Griffith.

I'm surprised nobody has noted the recent naming of Washington D.C. as the #1 singles city in the nation:

You better believe it. And eventually, they'll even fill the empty store front where Peebles clothing store has been...maybe with a Fashion Bug. Eat that, Mr. California!

I've always thought that the women of DC have slim pickings when it comes to DC men.

it's true. dc isn't quite as bad as baltimore. i've at least met a couple cute guys out... but alas, it was the young republican type. so it's tough out there too.

We have 'punk rock at the 9:30 Club' and a thriving LNS scene . . . for starters. It is indeed great to be alive and single and in DC.

your belief is in line with my girfriend's female friend's observations (read: constant bitching  ). listening to them, you'd think every male in this city is either gay or a complete troll.
the article aren't attributed to any individual author(s), but i'm willing to bet that it was written by a man/men... in which case, rating DC as a great city for singles would be understandable.
and i note that the 930 Club was mentioned in the article - AKA grand central station for the indie poon-train express!

If you have to ask, it's never going to happen. You have to just make it happen.

Could you gauge their interest in videotaping the whole thing? For me? Thaaanks!

haven't you ever seen that episode of entourage about that? geesh... if you don't learn anything from that show...
-
A dude tried to "make it happen" with me and my wife this weekend at Ocean City, though I should mention it would've been a four-way, as his lady-friend was involved as well. God Bless Drunk Old Couples as Fager's Island.

I scare easily. Please refrain from any further horror stories without proper warning.

you two need to write a book about managing the ladies (although i suspect it would be filed under "fiction" :D )
-
That kind of shit is overrated.
-
Haha...though I'd like to think my fictionalizing skills would've come up with something better than a four-some that didn't happen with a couple that was about as old (and about as sexually appealing to me) as my parents.

Once you marry her, her friends will be totally off-limits. You gotta jump on that train now, because pretty soon, it won't be stopping at your depot anymore.

It's true. You try this sort of stuff post-marriage and you'll be riding the 8:30 Alone-Train to Alonesville with stops at Ex-Husband Junction and West Breakingupwithyou!

OLNEY #17 BIATCH
Seriously - what in the name of God is that list based on? I know Olney like the back of my hand and it can't even come close to were I live now - A rated schools, zero crime, public parks up the yazoo, absolutely spotless, relatively low cost of living, beautiful area, weather to die for, friendly people...the list is endless, and Jupiter FL isn't even in the top 100. I really don't care about the list so I'm only comparing Jupiter to Olney but there's absolutely no comparison.
As for Elmerfuddburg at #56, I don't think the category, 'schtupping your kinfolk' is that important to most people.

I hear Olney got a lot better after you moved away, Mankie. And you say you live in Jupiter now and it didn't make the list? Hmmm, just a coincidence, you think? :o
I'm kidding! I'm a kidder really!
