i won't be there!  i refuse to pay nearly $100 for a ticket to see a band i saw for $10 last tour!  not to mention i don't like the nissan pavillion.

$69 has been the standard price for a reserved seat (before fees) from what i've seen from the dates so far.

and look! they're playing BOTH canadian cities.

That is an absurd amount of money, and I'm sure on top of it, they probably have some fan club that'll get first shot at tickets, and so I'd be paying $80 for 200 level seating.

they do have a fan club thing.
and also, to pillage more money out of their 'fans', they are doing some exclusive thing where you pay an extra $100+ or something and get a different entrance or some shit.  it's just a stupid, unnecessary gimmick.

I assume it's a pay thing? I'd actually really want to go if I could get decent tickets, but I refuse to pay that much to sit a hundred yards from the band.

if it's just the old virginia beach amphitheater corporately renamed, then i've been there twice -- last time for lollapalooza in 1997.  it's just a generic amphitheater.  there's nothign remotely remarkable about it.

i've worked almost all of those amphitheaters, and they're all essentially the same.  sometimes i'd wake up in the morning and honestly think i was in the same place.

VA beach is tons of parking lots and a big amphitheater with a big grass wall much like nissan pavilion.

you can listen to their whole album on their website. youve got plenty of time to listen to the new album before tickets go on sale. at least the general sale that is.
