Man: How many of you kids would like Itchy & Scratchy to deal with
real-life problems, like the ones you face every day?
Kids: Oh, yeah! I would! Great idea! Yeah, that's it!
Man: And who would like to see them do just the opposite -- getting
into far-out situations involving robots and magic powers?
Kids: Me! Yeah! Oh, cool! Yeah, that's what I want!
Man: So, you want a realistic, down-to-earth show... that's
completely off-the-wall and swarming with magic robots?
Kids: [all agreeing, quieter this time] That's right. Oh yeah,
good.
Milhouse: And also, you should win things by watching.

Is nothing sacred anymore??
The spelling is next to go.
"Buggz Bunneee featuring Daffie Dux"

Slapping the word "extreme" on whatever tired property has fallen out of favor: Easier than coming up with new ideas!

I say evolve. I say let the chips fall where they may.
Besides, Bugs & Co. haven't been funny since 1947.

Itchy: Look, Scratchy, it's our new friend, Poochie.
Scratchy: What's that name again? I forgot.
Poochie: The name's Poochie D.
And I rock this telly.
I'm half Joe Camel
and a third Fonzarelli.
I'm the kung-fu hippie.
From gangsta city.
I'm a rappin' surfer.
You the fool I pity.
Scratchy: Oohh, Poochie is one outrageous dude.
Itchy: He's totally in my face.

This was done already in the mid-90s...it was called "Animaniacs."

No, "Animaniacs" actually had characters that weren't really derived from previous WB characters. "Tiny Toons," on the other hand, was Warner Bros./Steven Spielberg's lame attempt to make the classic Warner Bros. characters "hip" to the new generation. They get points for making a couple of videos based on "They Might Be Giants" songs when no one really knew who they were, but that's about it.
