Title: Von Bondies Roll Call
Post by: ratioci nation on November 24, 2004, 01:10:00 pm
Who is going tonight? I prefer to forget that the Donnas are playing as well.

I'm going but it's mostly for the Donnas. My wife insists upon accompanying me to this show. She seems to think that I'm going to attempt to become a sex slave to the band. I mean...it's not a bad idea....

I'm guessing that there's no danger of this show selling out since it's the night before Thanksgiving and many people are going out of town.

We're going.  Should be a great double-bill.

I'll probably be there if it doesn't sellout.  I've been trying to see the Von Bondies as soon as I heard that new album. Not really interested in the Donnas.  Sound too much like four chicks playing Kiss covers. Probably leave early and go somewhere where the drinks are cheaper.

I saw the Bondies a couple of months ago in Baltimore.  I was pretty impressed, they seemed to have mastered that bluesy, garage punk sound.  Let us know how the Donnas are!

Von Bondies look like they got a new bassist.  Still were pretty on.

I thought the donnas were quite good.  Lots of energy on stage, having fun, rocking out.

They did. The original one quit early sometime this past year.
