What's the deal with this band? Sounds like random noise to me.

I'll be there if I can get my printer working by then. Does missiontix really only do printable tickets? Wouldn't want to make the trip only to be shut out.

The two eps are much "noisier" than the new LP.

saw the noisettes play with the maccabees. they really werent my thing - the chick got on my nerves - but the crowd loved them. i should preface that it was an all english crowd for the most part, if that makes a difference.

can i convince you guys to come to pianos before your show. studio B is always so late.  :D

Fucking sound issues delayed the start of the show until 12:30 causing me to miss the last 15-20 minutes. Would've missed the last train back to dc for sure if I stuck around for the whole thing.  :(  Other than that, solid night of music. I was thoroughly impressed by deerhunter; looking forward to their BC show more now.

speaking of Deerhunter, the singer has a blog. Excerpts:

"....at any rate, remind me to tell you sometime how much I fucking HATE GIRL GROUPIES. Please stay the fuck away. I only can speak for myself but you can bet your ass that your not coming backstage and drinking our beers and trying to makeout with my bandmates. If they want to make out with you they can (but probably wont if you are a CUNT) take you somewhere far far away from my frame of vision."

"Don't fuck with me. I like nice people. I should also add that I am not into gayboy groupies either. just because i have obvious homosexual tendancies does not mean I want to be promiscuous. Like I said, I am a 25 year old virgin. That's by choice. Besides, like I also said earlier, I am on Lexapro and have not been able to come in over a month... "

Before their set last night, he asked if there were any requests. Some guy in the back yelled "eating food!" and he got pissed. "I see you, motherfucker; you think I can't point you out in this crowd? I see you...you're the guy in the tacky shirt. Come up here! We don't have a song called that but I'll write a song dedicated to you called 'eat my dick' but I'm not into guys with tacky shirts so we'll make it a b-side."

i regret not going to this show, but i took a nap and it made me groggy and lame.

that said, i don't regret missing the band made up of US Maple/90 day men.

You could not pay me to listen to either of those bands.
