How do you hear of this stuff? I want one in DC. It'd be even more interesting if they made their own cereal.

I don't. I eat oatmeal just cause it's healthy.

I see this concept as a racket to overprice something by giving it cache. Yuk!

I spotted a blurb about it in this morning's Express as well.

I used to love Waffle-O's.  Once for christmas my Grandmother wrapped up a box for me and put it under the tree.  She was so cool!  Waffle-O's and Marathon bars.  Always plenty of both around for us.

I dont' think so...it was a long braided chocolate-caramel thingy....Not to be confused with the UK Marathon bar, which is just a snickers with a different name I think.

Why do I get the feeling that I've discussed Marathon bars on this board before?

Man I thought I was the only one that remembered Waffle-O's.  They were great.  There is a cereal out now that is reminiscent of good old Waffle-O's, but the name escapes me right now.  If I can think of it, I'll post again.

 Just found it...

The only cereal I ever ate as a kid was Corn Chex, Cheerios, or Grape Nuts.  No sugary cereals were allowed.

Same here (Frosted Flakes were cut off at age 4). Kix was a rare treat.

They and a very few others are about the only ones that I've eaten for years. Shredded Wheat is good too. All by choice. I can't stand most other cereals because of all of the sugar in them. It's a taste thing with me, not so much nutrition.

Have no desire whatsoever to go to that place. Sounds like it's not at all to my liking.
