WOAH!!! Was I waaaay off or what??

I'll put it down to the 'accident' I had on Sunday. Must've banged my head as well.

I do agree with the article somewhat though....as good as the Beatles were they weren't the be all and end all were they.

There will always be 'poster children' for certain genre's and the Beatles come under that umbrella in my very humble opinion...just like The Clash, U2, Joy Division and as shite as they were, Nirvana.

I'll tell the truth, while I enjoy the Beatles, I've never loved them.  However, I've always bought into their greatness because SO many of the bands I listen to are described as having roots in the Beatles (or Pet Sounds, another album I have because I should be don't listen to...).  It's an interesting article (I've just scanned it; will read now....).

The Beatles were more important than Reagan in unseating the Politburo!

Well, I read that article and...

...it reminds of the old adage...

Opinions are like assholes; everyone's got one.

Now there's this quote on the article, about having a bad opinion on the Beatles:

Quote
Do and they'll burn you in the street.
Not a bad idea... not a bad idea at all. Muhahahahahahaha!    :p
