Does the 9:30 Club have a coat check? I've been there before but it was in the summer.

It is, I know...I've been wondering why the move. First, they've taken away the only place to sit when you want to get out of the fray for those sold-out shows you wanted to check out, but, eh, give it a couple more songs.
Were there problems with the upstairs location? Now it's just more clutter in the already super-cluttered downstairs hall (getting out of there from stage right side of the club can be a bear).

My guess is not many people really knew about the upstairs coat check so they put it in a more visible (and high traffic) area.

Wouldn't a sign at the front door be easier?

Just don't tell anyone about the elitist cloak room available only to forum members.

You'd think so, but just like those signs out front that say no drugs or underage drinking, etc, what do you know...people seem to miss those too :)
Actually I heard it was because Kosmo needed more space upstairs for his groupies and record collection...but mainly groupies.

There is no sign posted forbidding stabbing other concertgoers. Fact.
