The 1960s died with the Rolling Stones concert at Altamont. I just picked up Gimme Shelter on DVD and am going to watch it tonight. Rock'n'roll!

great film with lots of amazing footage of not just murder and the rolling stones, but of ike and tina turner, the jefferson airplane, the flying burrito brothers, and jerry garcia stoned out of his mind.
 
 it's too bad taking acid and bludgeoning hippies with pool cues never caught on.

heh... watching "Gimme Shelter" is like watching "This is Spinal Tap" all over again...  :D
