all good suggestions above! the vinyl household is fully stocked on xmas tunes so off the top of my head hear are some additional ones...  need to check the iTunes at home for more.

Both Brian Setzer Orchestra XMAS CDs are go daddy-o go!  Ace arrangements.

Hoodoo Gurus - "Little Drummer Boy(Up the Kyhber)"
 Marvin Gaye - "Purple Snowflakes"
The Three Kings (aka XTC) - "Thanks for Christmas" and "Countdown to Christmas Party Time"
 Starbelly - "Dear Mother Christmas"
 Elvis
El Vez - "Feliz Navidad" The lyrics are sung on top what sounds most like Public Image Ltd's "Unlimited Supply".

 more to come...

p.s. there is this legal DRM-free music download service that has a nice collection of holiday tunes, including the first brian setzer.

Have you heard the sufjan stevens christmas songs?  I've been listening to them, my favorite is I saw three ships because he complains at the end how he played bad.  You can download them here:

You can't go wrong with Henry Rollins version of Twas the Night Before Christmas.  It'll really take the party to a new level.

Feist - Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming
Ron Sexsmith - Maybe This Christmas
The Walkmen - The Christmas Party

Also, definitely try to find Sufjan Steven's "Come On! Let's Boogey to the Elf Dance!"  It's well worth it.

father Christmas by the kinks....

When I was small I believed in santa claus
Though I knew it was my dad
And I would hang up my stocking at christmas
Open my presents and Iâ??d be glad

But the last time I played father christmas
I stood outside a department store
A gang of kids came over and mugged me
And knocked my reindeer to the floor

 They said:
Father christmas, give us some money
Donâ??t mess around with those silly toys.
Weâ??ll beat you up if you donâ??t hand it over
We want your bread so donâ??t make us annoyed
Give all the toys to the little rich boys

Donâ??t give my brother a steve austin outfit
Donâ??t give my sister a cuddly toy
We donâ??t want a jigsaw or monopoly money
We only want the real mccoy

Father christmas, give us some money
Weâ??ll beat you up if you make us annoyed
Father christmas, give us some money
Donâ??t mess around with those silly toys

But give my daddy a job â??cause he needs one
Heâ??s got lots of mouths to feed
But if youâ??ve got one, Iâ??ll have a machine gun
So I can scare all the kids down the street

Father christmas, give us some money
We got no time for your silly toys
Weâ??ll beat you up if you donâ??t hand it over
Give all the toys to the little rich boys

Have yourself a merry merry christmas
 Have yourself a good time
But remember the kids who got nothinâ??
While youâ??re drinkinâ?? down your wine

Father christmas, give us some money
We got no time for your silly toys
Weâ??ll beat you up if you donâ??t hand it over
We want your bread, so donâ??t make us annoyed
Give all the toys to the little rich boys
