can I just take a moment to say what a fantastic job I think NBC have done in 'Americanizing' The Office - every episode this season has been brilliant

I'd have to say I agree. I was very skeptical at first but I truly love The (American) Office. All the actors playing the main roles do a fine job. And, I like how the creators went a different route with the boss character. Making him annoying and pathetic but also sympathetic and at times sweet. Jim and Pam have great chemistry. And, I've loved actor who plays Dwight since his also-creepy performance in "Six Feet Under." The episode featuring the Dund-y awards at Chili's was especially excellent.

i totally agree The Office this season has been very funny... Last years episode with the basketball game was also brill...
 
 it's interesting how they are sort of integrating the film crew into the story lines, the episode with the party was fab...
 
 while i think ricky g. is very funny, but as seen in Extras he can only play himself, where as mentioned above Steve Correll has a much wider range of emotions and moods he can call upon for the boss character.

I was in tears on the end scene of yesterday's show when he took the picture and walked away...

Thanks for posting that.  I was laughing so hard in my office, I almost peed my pants.
 
 And, I like the American Office too.  I was completely opposed to the idea, but I like it.

No show will ever come close to the British "Office"
 
 I've never watched anything funnier in my life.
