I offer no disrespect to any Sisters fan...and I am one, but I thought it was pretty bad.

I, too, was somewhat disappointed. There were lots of sound problems during the main set and Andrew, never the best sounding vocalist in a live setting, at one point early on said "Who wants my cold?" which would explain much. The main set was also marred by the inclusion of too many "new" songs (i.e. performed at European festivals for years now but not yet recorded). After the last song of the set, Andrew must have gone back stage and either did a line or some Zicam because the two encores were amazing, particularly the new arrangement of Lucretia, and redeemed the night for me. Still, the last 9:30 appearance in 98', I believe, was better in my opinion.

I thought during the most of the show that they looked and sounded like a Sisters of Mercy cover band.... Which they basically are, except for Andrew. The last song sounded the best ... "Vision Thing" ... That got my blood pumping. Overall, I'm sorry I went, even though I'm a HUGE fan. Oh, and all the dry ice/fog was overkill and caused me to burst out laughing a few times thinking of Spinal Tap and all the metal bands out there who do this sort of thing, but do it with more restraint. Was there anyone down front gagging, I wonder?
