Title: David Blaine
Post by: G.Love on September 29, 2003, 11:53:00 am
British sour on  Blaine's (http://www.washtimes.com/world/20030926-114127-6831r.htm) stunt.

I thought this was funny when some members posted about it, but after reading this article, I kind of felt sorry for him.  Then I saw he was getting $1.5M and I said feck him he deserves everything he is getting!

his plastic prison with only water, a quilt and pillow, a journal, diapers, a change of clothes and a photograph of his mother to keep him company.

what is he doing with the used diapers?  just keeping them up there with him?  i think it would be too funny if he started lobbing them back at the brits.

What I had wondered was how he managed to change them with all of Britain watching? Then again, maybe I don't want to know.

No, Americans shit...Birds custard.

You'll have to get yank to send you a packet and make some....it's the best. Then the next morning if there's any left over, when gone it's all thick and puddingie, it's the perfect breakfast.

I think it's WAMU 88.5 FM.  Unfortunately I don't remember the time.  They read a letter from someone that listed phrases such as the gruntled expression.

mmmm, my parents used to make it to put on pie, but I use to just ask for the custard please, probably why I have a body type that Rhett and Celeste would disapprove of

Must be a re-run of Saturdays show, because that's were I stole it from.

Don't feel bad....when you've been on this board a little longer you will realize that only Rhett and Celeste are perfect.

That's it, I'm making some Birds custard tonight. I wish it was going home time now!

I mentioned Spotted Dick just last week...and the photo even shows Birds custard poured over it...off to Rodmans it is then for a tin of chocolate pudding or spotted dick.

Actually, in this politically correct country we call the USA it would have to be renamed "Freckled Richard" I'm sure.

Oh, really? I'd be careful if I were you. You may want to inquire how his dick got spotted.

Don't worry Mankie, she called me a racist last week and I didn't say a damned thing about anyone's race or even the hint of it. It was one of those "politically correct" incorrect assumptions.

yeah...but funny

...if dulcinea is lurking out there, I will say to her that nobody meant to hurt your feelings...you may be a very voluptuous little fox who got thrown off a stage at a crappy concert...but even if you're not, no matter...hold your head up high, girl...

Have I ever worried about what anyone says...."racist" is now the PC default comeback, but I'm sure you already know that. I would like to know what's racist about the comment I made though, not that I give a crap, but it would be fun having the two idiots come up with something.

I guess it is okay to be a "fatist" though.

I'm not back-pedalling...you must know I don't care about your racist comments...I'm just funnin' on how you all love to jump on Rhett for being a racist or a fatist or whatever...but, I like your bike-centric poetry and Jag's line about the dirty water

So are Roseanne jokes off limits too? Or is it still ok to make fun of fat celebrities?

You can make fun of whoever you want as far as I'm concerned.  Making non-pc comments does not automatically make someone an 'ist' anything.
