Bags and I are in for the Bowery!  Don't know what to expect from UO at this point and don't know how attended it will be, but why not?  Bags and I might be the only two people there, which might be fun! I'm moving to NY 2/1 so this is a good first weekend up there.

I loked around the web for info, there's almost nothing out there on this except for urgeoverkill.net.  Looks like the drummer isn't in this version but the other two are.

well The Shazam (http://www.theshazam.com/)  will be worth the price of admission alone... think cheap trick (the bass player trots ye olde 12-string bass once in awhile), the move, big hooks and lots of crunch.  bigger in the uk than here, there fans include Liam Gallagher & Paul Weller.  t

I had the pleasure of seeing The Shazam in Nashville a year or two back. Pretty damn great! I love my power pop and these guys deliver in spades!

"God Speed The Shazam" is a tad better than "Tomorrow the World"...  Super Tuesday and Sweet Bitch are classic tracks

When are you going to have the iPod surgically implanted in your head?

Okay, since I'm ordering from Not Lame, what Myracle Brah album should I get?  (I don't have any...).

I have Super Automatic and it is good.  WOXY has been playing a catchy little number from their latest album - Treblemaker.

moments ago my mac ripped my copy just dandy   :D  it's rockin' and rollin', etc as i type...  one thing i do dig about TTW is that the bass player aquired a 12-string bass (ala Tom Petersson) which he effectively uses a couple songs.

save your money on Super Automatic, i have an extra copy that i rescued during the Kemp Hill meltdown that yours for the taking... i would start with "life on planet eartsnop" if it was available... plate spinner is more big star influenced and was recorded in mono... bleeder is good and i have yet to hear "treblemaker" although it's reportetly the garagest of andy's releases..

And, inevitably, I just purchased Super Automatic.  Well, it's money in Not Lame's pocket, so it's all good.  Thanks, all.

I've been looking for some Urge Overkill info, but every site I've found is super out of date.  Will be interesting to see the lineup and what's in store at the NY shows.
