The Red and Black Bar are too cheap to get their own message board. Kind of tells you what they think of their patrons.

That their patrons are too precious to them to have to absorb, via ticket price increases, the cost of maintaining a R&B message board?
Since when is "having a messageboard" an indication of whether a company cares about its clients or not?

all that said, this show slays anything at 930 in april. would be better if at the velvet, though.

julian, sounds like you're being oppositional-defiant...
having a message board shows that the company wants to provide a forum for communication. how many other nightclubs in DC have the equivalent of a "Hey Seth" thread? for any club other than 930, where does one ask about set times, or show policies, or how soon a given show will sell out? i consider these valuable services, enabled by a message board. to me, it shows that the club cares about its patrons.

How do you figure?
Look, I hate this cat as much as anyone else. In fact, if you want to go back and look, I was the first person to call them out on being a filthy shill. That's because I'm a leader in our community, but that's a discussion for another time and place.
I just think we are all intelligent enough that we can point out their disgusting street-teamer nature without making outlandish statements like "entites without messageboards don't care about their clients." You know why? Because Jesus doesn't have a messageboard, and neither does my mother, and I will be damned if people speak ill of my mother, your mother, anyone's mother, or Jesus on my watch. DAMNED, I tell you.
